HOW WE STARTED - FOOD TRAILER

Experience a taste of Argentina in the heart of Lower Hutt at Mariana’s Kitchen Eatery. Our story began in 2020 with a small food trailer, serving locals at markets and festivals like Newtown Fair and CubaDupa.

In 2021 we expanded with a kiosk at the Petone Foreshore Playground, adding a full coffee menu and introducing even more locals to our Argentinian flavours. After closing the kiosk in 2025, we poured all our passion into our eatery, which opened in early 2024 near the War Memorial Library in Lower Hutt.

Today, Mariana’s Kitchen Eatery is a family and kid-friendly café, perfect for breakfast, lunch, coffee, or casual catch-ups. We serve authentic Argentinian empanadas, choripanes, fresh sandwiches, and sweet treats like alfajores, all paired with barista-made coffee. We also offer catering in Lower Hutt for offices, events, and special occasions, bringing our flavours directly to your table.
